We may process your personal information for legitimate business purposes to manage our consumer engagement with you, including marketing, competitions, and complaints. We may process your personal information for direct marketing purposes with your consent.

In the normal course of our consumer engagement activities, we can collect the following types of personal information, not limited to:

Full name, alternative name and relationship, address, telephone numbers, messaging ID, order history

Uses made of your Personal Information.

We process personal information for the following purposes:

(j) to make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users of our site about goods or services that may interest you or them.

Disclosure of your Personal Information

You agree that we have the right to share your personal information with:

(a) Any member of our Choice Foods Thailand Ltd, which means our divisions or future subsidiaries.

(b) We may disclose your personal information to any prospective seller or buyer of our business.

(c) We may disclose your personal information to any third party if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or for the performance of any contract, we enter into with them or you, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Choice Foods Thailand Ltd, our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Where we store your Personal Information

(a) Please note the data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside Thailand. It may also be processed by staff operating outside Thailand who works for us or for one of our suppliers. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, the fulfillment of your order, the processing of your payment details, and the provision of support services. However, we will not transfer personal data outside of Thailand unless there are appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection law.

(b) Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

Your Rights

We need your consent to use your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Whenever you choose to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you must tick to indicate that you agree to the information being used for these purposes.

For example, access may be denied (i) in the case of recurrent access requests within a short time interval, or (ii) where providing such access or correction could compromise the privacy of another person or unreasonably expose sensitive company information.

If you believe that any information, we are holding on to you is incorrect, incomplete or out of date, please write to us or email us as soon as possible at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Jurisdiction

These statements are governed by Thailand law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thailand courts in relation to any dispute that may arise between them.

Vendors & Business Customers

Scope

This notice explains how we handle the personal information of vendors and business customers during our trading activities. We may amend this notice from time to time, should it become necessary to do so. This notice may also be supplemented by other statements as needed to comply with local site requirements.

Information we may collect from you.

We may process your personal information for the legitimate business purposes of trading with our vendors and customers, or for administering our contractual relationship with you and for the running of our businesses.

We may collect, use and transfer your personal information through automated, electronic, and/or paper-based data processing systems. We have established routine processing functions (such as processing for regular payment administration and via our vendor and customer setup processes).

We also process personal information on an occasional or ad hoc basis (such as when a vendor or customer requests a change in detail).

In the normal course of our trading activities, we can collect the following types of personal information. This is generally only where a vendor or customer operates as a sole trader or partnership:

(a) Personal identification information, such as your name, home address, and home phone number; and

(b) Payment-related information, such as your government identifier or tax numbers, or bank account details.

(a) to collect information about your business’ qualifications as a potential supplier or customer.

(b) to contact and identify you throughout the supplier evaluation process,

(c) to allow our businesses to partner and trade with each other; and

(d) other legal and customary business-related purposes.

In addition, we may process sensitive personal information if it is needed for legitimate business objectives or if it is required to comply with applicable law. Sensitive personal information will not be collected, processed, or transferred, except where adequate privacy protection mechanisms are in place.
